Every Patient Tells a Story; Medical Mysteries and the Art of Diagnosis by Lisa Sanders is an easy to read book of unusual cases that have been passed on to Dr. Sanders by physicians across the country. Dr. Sanders writes stories of patients that have puzzled physicians and usually presents them in the New York Times Magazine but in this book she has gathered some of these stories and tells us the human story behind the suffering as well as describing the cases in more detail and with more insight. Dr. Sanders is also the Technical Advisor to the television show House and so if you enjoy watching House or reading about medical mysteries or have wondered how Doctors try to diagnosis mysterious illnesses than you will enjoy reading this book.
